← School App

Privacy

School App is currently a proof of concept. It uses the minimum account information needed to sign you in and show that authentication is working.

Information used

When you sign in with Google, the app receives your Google account identifier, name and verified email address. When you sign in with MyLogin, it receives your MyLogin identity, user type and school organisation details.

How it is stored

Account details are kept in an encrypted, HTTP-only session cookie on your device. The session expires after eight hours. This proof of concept does not save account profiles in an application database.

How it is used

The information is used only to authenticate you and display your signed-in identity. It is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.

Your choices

Signing out removes the application session cookie. You can also revoke this app's access from your Google Account or ask your MyLogin administrator to manage your access.
